JUST A LITTLE NOTE ...

Today is Thursday and I wonder where the week went? Actually, I know ...

I have had one of the busiest weeks in a while and there is more to come. Between Saturday and Tuesday, I drove 500 miles and stood on my feet (in heels) for about 15 hours. Take into consideration that none of this happened on Sunday. Wednesday was spent taking care of some errands that needed to be done and today, I took two of my reps out and we delivered books. It is hot here in Alabama and today was no exception. Now, I don't mind delivering books at all, but walking up and down hills in this humid heat is for the birds. Still, they have each gotten new customers from it already and that is what we do it for.

Now, this evening, I will spend some time cleaning my office and getting a few things ready for my 135 mile trek tomorrow. Yep .. another one. I'm keeping Texaco in business all by myself! When I get home from there, I have to dive in and clean, clean, clean the house because ...

company is coming! My brother, his two sons and daughter and my brothers girlfriend are all arriving on Saturday evening from Chicago. They will be in and out for the week, then my brother, his daughter and his girlfriend will be leaving and the two boys (13 & 12 year olds) will be here with me for the following 3 (yes, I said three) weeks. And of course, I have my own boys. Needless to say, this house will be at full capacity and then some.

Also, on June 27th is Liberty Day. So, as usual, we are hosting a big, bar-b-que, bonfire and we will take a trip into town for the street festival and parade, then at 9 p.m., we will all head to the high school and watch an awesome fireworks show. Now keep in mind, this all happens AFTER I get home from the Avon booth that I will set up at the street festival at 7 a.m. that morning. How do I get myself in to these things?

LOL, who am I kidding?? I love it. If I didn't have too much to do, I would be beside myself with boredom!

It promises to be a fun, fun month ... and a tiring one!
